I must say I was having my doubts -- what with scams all over the internet -- but after my above post, Jan did call me. Still, there was no receipt or paper trail or ETA and I was feeling paranoid. I think they're addressing this part of their business. Otherwise, I am absolutely thrilled with the furniture. I received it exactly 8 weeks after ordering it. The set looks exactly as pictured, and the quality is superb! As a Financial Strategist, I was very curious to see firsthand how the Chinese manufacturing would look.(You know, China is purportedly 'stealing' the US's manufacturing jobs.) I've got to be honest: if this is what China is capable of, we're getting our asses kicked. Not only was the furniture top quality for half the price --but the telltale sign for me was even in the way it was packed! Fanatical detail was paid to the wrapping of each piece. I was amazed; my delivery guys were cursing! (Every little leg, edge, and corner was intricately wrapped in foam...twice!) I will gladly recommend Shangrila to others.

Product Description
Elegance and comfort is what you will find in this practical bench, adding a posh feel to your home or office. Great for reading, working on the laptop, or just relaxing. Add that comfort you desire to any room while maintaining the design you have worked so hard to achieve.
Why is our furniture better than the rest?
Top of the line materials All of our products are hand made using top grain 100% aniline dyed Italian leathers, the best available on the market today.
Superior built frames Our frames are made of kiln-dried hardwood with a very low moisture content making them very sturdy and resistant to wear.
No springs We opt for strong, woven straps, which provide additional comfort and secure support without squeaky noises and possibilities for punctures that come with metal springs.
Fully enclosed and foam-padded rear portions Many manufacturers leave the back of their furniture open, with only the upholstery material covering the opening, making the upholstery more prone to puncture and the frame weak in that area.
